Exciting STEM workshop at the Moose Jaw public library

The Nanan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Academy brought an exciting workshop to the Moose Jaw Public Library on August 26, 2023. The event featured three captivating activities: snap circuits, block programming called Scratch, and robotics with the mBot.
The workshop not only conveyed knowledge, but also ignited a passion for STEM in the participants. Elaine De Loyola, an instructor and course creator at Nanan Academy, explains, “Children learn essential skills and develop a love for learning through hands-on experiences like these.” By combining hands-on learning with fun, the workshop showcased the limitless opportunities in the world of science and technology.
A special acknowledgment goes to Aislinn Lawreniuk, a dedicated librarian at the Moose Jaw Public Library, whose support and collaboration played a crucial role in making the workshop a great success.
