Industry Tour at CAE Inc.

Students and faculty of Nanan STEM Academy embarked on an industry tour at CAE located at 15 Wing Canadian Forces Base in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada on December 11, 2022.

At Nanan STEM Academy, we are thrilled to offer STEM classes for kids that give them an opportunity to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics along with the career opportunities that are available.  Our comprehensive coding and robotics classes for kids provide a unique learning experience that help kids develop invaluable skills that have an impact on their future lifestyle.

CAE is a Canadian high-tech company providing simulation technologies and training services to airlines, healthcare, and defence and security customers. With our industry tour at CAE, Inc., students were exposed to how these skills were applied in the real world. Our knowledgeable and experienced hosts provided a tour of the flight simulators used for military aviation training. Students were exposed to the application of design-thinking and computational thinking, and they were in deep explorations of how science is done practically.

The tour also provided an opportunity to meet industry professionals and get an inside look at a cutting-edge STEM-based business. At the end of the tour, students gained valuable insights into the career opportunities available in the STEM field and were inspired to continue learning and exploring.
