Innovative Donation set to shape the future of technology education

Nanan STEM Academy has generously donated a state-of-the-art 3D printer to the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division (HTCSD) in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. This contribution is set to revolutionize the learning experience for students, equipping them with essential skills for the ever-evolving world of technology.
The donation of the Bambu Labs X1 3D printer marks a significant leap forward in fostering technology-driven education in the region. The printer will enhance the way students interact with technology and expand their horizons in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The students at Nanan Academy have already embraced the potential of 3D printing through experimentation on 3D modeling using tools like TinkerCAD, followed by 3D-printing their designs. The Academy wishes to empower communities with education and technology.
Gerry Turcotte, the Technology Facilitator for HTCSD, expressed his excitement regarding the potential impact of the 3D printer on the students. “The addition of this advanced 3D printer to our resources is a game-changer for our students. It will not only provide them with access to cutting-edge technology, but also empower them with skills in mathematics, 3D Cartesian plane understanding, spatial orientation, and above all, creativity.”
