There are hands-on learning in robotics, game design, AI, and Entrepreneurship for students ages 8–17, led in small groups by an experienced educator and former software developer.

After-School STEM

Ongoing, hands-on STEM classes where participants explore coding, robotics, game design, and introductory AI through guided projects and experimentation.

Nanan Academy classes in Calgary are led by an instructor with deep experience in technology, education, and community-based learning.

Stacey Piercey

Stacey began her career in software development before moving into human–computer interaction and usability, where she supported organizations in designing and improving digital products.

After leaving the corporate technology sector to homeschool her three children, she began teaching STEAM and entrepreneurship programs to families and communities. In 2017, Stacey created a youth entrepreneurship program that has since been experienced by over 800 students worldwide and is now offered through Nanan Academy.

Stacey’s teaching focuses on hands-on learning, thoughtful guidance, and creating an environment where learners of all ages can build confidence while developing practical skills.
