Create an animated greeting card using Scratch. Use a simple sequence of code blocks in a loop to make the animation engaging and interactive.
Instructions
Design Your Greeting Card
Think about the occasion for the greeting card (e.g., birthday, holiday, congratulations).
Decide on the theme, colors, and any specific elements you want to include (e.g., balloons, hearts, fireworks).
Create the Animation:
Open Scratch and start a new project.
Use the following steps to create your greeting card animation:
Background: Choose an appropriate background (e.g., party scene, starry night).
Sprites: Add sprites (characters or objects) to your scene. For example, you can have a character saying “Happy Birthday!” or a heart floating around.
Animation Loop: Use a loop (e.g., “forever” block) to make your animation continuous. For instance, make the heart move up and down or have confetti falling continuously.
Customize their cards by adding their own creative touches.
Code Blocks to Use:
Motion: Move, glide, and change position.
Looks: Show, hide, change costume, and switch backdrop.
Events: When green flag clicked, when key pressed, etc.
Control: Repeat, forever, if-else.
Test and Share:
Test your animation to ensure it works as expected.
Share your greeting card with classmates or family members.
