Robotics Explorers

Students delve into the fascinating world of robotics with this course, where they learn how coding is utilized to control physical objects through the Edison Educational Robot. The transition from block code to text code using Python introduces them to more complex coding concepts.

What will you learn in the course?

Introduction to Robotics with Edison Educational Robot course is designed to obtain fundamental programming and robotics skills using the Edison robot. Students will learn the concepts of Sequencing, Loops, Inputs, Decision Statements, Variables, and Functions through a block-based coding and Python programming to control a robot.

Robotics

Learn the basics of programming by writing code to control the robot’s movements and actions

Engineering Principles

Understand mechanical and electrical engineering concepts through hands-on building and programming.

Design Thinking

Apply design thinking by planning, prototyping, and testing their ideas.

Python

Introduce students to Python coding language to control robot.
