Video games are engaging and fun. We leverage this fact to keep students motivated and invested in their learning journey, leading to better understanding and retention of the material. We focus on three of the most popular Esports games: League of Legends, Fortnite, and Rocket League.
Each student maintains a learning journal with Google Sites. This journal encourages self-assessment and helps demonstrate growth. It’s a personal space for students to articulate thoughts, set goals, and celebrate achievements.
Central to our curriculum is the comprehensive development of 10 key skills. We focus not just on academic excellence but also on cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, effective communication, and more.
